About Our Services:

Our Supported Living Services are available in Gloucestershire, Stoke-on-Trent, and Wolverhampton. These services are overseen at the location level by competent team leaders, and the manager we seek will play a crucial role in supporting regulatory reporting and governance to ensure compliance and enhance the quality of life outcomes for the young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Service Management: Manage and oversee Supported Living Services for young people aged 16-18 and adults with autism, mental health issues, learning disabilities, and complex needs, ensuring high-quality care and support.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, including Ofsted, by actively participating in regulatory reporting and governance procedures.
  • Individualised Support: Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
  • Independence Promotion: Actively support young people and service users in developing their independence, including encouraging their engagement in employment, training, and education.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a dedicated team of professionals, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care and support services.
  • Budget Management: Drive service improvement within budgetary constraints to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • NVQ 4 or NVQ Level 5 in Care and Management.
  • Relevant experience in managing either Children and Young Persons or Adult Supported Living services.
  • Passion for providing quality care and service improvement.
  • Understanding of positive behaviour support, autism, relevant legislation, and CQC standards.
  • Experience in managing various portals and job requests from local authorities.
  • Proficiency in digital tools and office applications for efficient management.
  • Current driving license and ability to travel independently.
  • Flexibility to respond to the service’s needs, including on-call availability for emergency support, including evenings and weekends.
