RMN (Community Adult Eating Disorder)

Job Requirements:

• The Eating Disorders Intensive Community Treatment unit (EDICT) provides intensive specialist treatment for eating disorders five days per week and primarily uses a group therapy approach to treatment. Although based in Colchester it is a trust-wide resource.
• The post holder will take a leading role in the provision of a high quality intensive day treatment programme as part of the overall provision of the eating disorders service
• They will function as a key worker and be responsible for risk assessment development of care plans and managing a small clinical case load.
• The post holder will be expected to develop their own expertise as a resource for the team and will advise the EDICT unit team on a day-to-day nursing matters
• Lead on the day to day running of the unit, ensuring that the therapeutic programme runs as planned
• To lead in the development of individualised care and treatment plans and ensure that risk assessments are up to date at all times
