RMN (Community Adult Eating Disorder) Band – 6

Special Requirements:

The Eating Disorders Intensive Community Treatment unit (EDICT) provides intensive specialist treatment for eating disorders five days per week and primarily uses a group therapy approach to treatment. Although based in Colchester, it is a trust-wide resource.
Post holder will take a leading role in the provision of a high quality intensive day treatment programme as part of the overall provision of the eating disorders service.
They will function as a key worker and be responsible for risk assessments development of care plans and managing a small clinical case load.
The post holder will be expected to develop their own expertise as a resource for the team and will advise the EDICT unit team on a day-to-day nursing matters. Lead on the day to day running of the unit, ensuring that the therapeutic programme runs as planned.
To lead on the development of individualised care and treatment plans and ensure that risk assessments are up to date at all times.
