Independent Non-Medical Nurse Prescriber Band 7 ADHD Service-Band 6

Special Requirements:

• Substantial community experience in mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Experience of practice teaching and supervision.
• Evidence of providing care for complex and challenging service users.
• Working in an MDT environment with multi-agency liaison and communication.
• Experience at a senior staff nurse level or above.
• Front line operational dealing with service users on a daily basis.
• Ability to assess their environment and make decisions that will ensure their safety and that of their clients.
• Lone working in the community.
• Ability to travel independently across a wide geographical area.
• This post requires the post holder to be physically able to undertake the Trust’s Breakaway Techniques training.
• Undertake Manual handling training and carry out tasks following an appropriate risk assessment.
• Ability to travel freely throughout the Trust.
• A full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 and a reasonable adjustment can be made).
• Ability to manage conflict effectively.
• Ability to enthuse others, co-ordinate, and motivate others.
• Ability to delegate appropriately.
• Experience of providing clinical and/or management supervision.
