Special Requirements:
- Substantial community experience in mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders.
- Experience of practice teaching and supervision.
- Evidence of providing care for complex and challenging service users.
- Working in an MDT environment with multi-agency liaison and communication.
- Experience at a senior staff nurse level or above.
- Front line operational dealing with service users on a daily basis.
- Ability to assess their environment and make decisions that will ensure their safety and that of their clients.
- Lone working in the community.
- Ability to travel independently across a wide geographical area.
- This post requires the post holder to be physically able to undertake the Trust’s Breakaway Techniques training.
- Undertake Manual handling training and carry out tasks following an appropriate risk assessment.
- Ability to travel freely throughout the Trust.
- A full valid driving license and access to a car to use regularly for business purposes is essential (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010 and a reasonable adjustment can be made).
- Ability to manage conflict effectively.
- Ability to enthuse others, co-ordinate, and motivate others.
- Ability to delegate appropriately.
- Experience of providing clinical and/or management supervision.
