Special Requirements:

  • The delivery of high quality care within the service based on best practice. Ensuring that services meet the essential standards of care and quality required under CQC regulations and NSFT’s quality and safety agenda. Initiating and embedding nursing and AHP practice excellence to enhance the safety, experience and outcomes of people using our services, and the satisfaction of staff delivering care.
  • As Matron and Head of Clinical Practice, you will lead the clinical teams within your service to deliver high quality, safe care, ensuring that they meet both local and national requirements in relation to high-quality care based on the three fundamentals of quality.
  • Lead services that respond to service users’ needs and are recovery focused and are focused on delivering safe, compassionate care, providing service users with positive experiences in our services, and using feedback and comments to consciously improve services provide.
  • Clinical staff have clearly identified roles which contribute to delivery of care within a pathway, and they are clear what their accountability and level of responsibility is within the care pathway.
  • Experience of managing change and introducing new ways of working.
  • Ability to monitor and measure the effectiveness of nursing care and practice.
